This is a full-time, on-site role that involves diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions in pets, collaborating with a team of veterinary professionals, and communicating effectively with pet owners about treatment plans. The role requires conducting thorough examinations, prescribing and administering treatments, and staying updated on the latest advancements in veterinary dermatology to provide optimal care.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in veterinary dermatology, including diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions in pets
- Proficiency in advanced diagnostic techniques and therapeutic procedures specific to dermatology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate and guide pet owners on pet care and treatment plans
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a veterinary team
- DVM or equivalent degree, with a valid veterinary license
- Ongoing commitment to professional development and staying updated on dermatology advancements
- Experience with record-keeping software and hospital management systems is a plus
