Job Summary
Provides basic healthcare services, supports workplace safety, ensures complete and accurate health documentation, and promotes employee well-being through health monitoring and wellness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Health & Medical Assistance
- Provide basic medical care and first aid to employees
- Assess and manage workplace injuries and illnesses
- Maintain and update confidential medical records
Health Monitoring & Compliance
- Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical monitoring
- Ensure employees are fit to work and meet health requirements
- Monitor and track medical clearances, sick leaves, and return-to-work status
- Ensure compliance with occupational health standards and government regulations (e.g., DOLE)
HR & Administrative Support
- Ensure completeness and proper filing of employee medical records and health documents
- Coordinate with HR on pre-employment requirements and medical clearances
- Assist in monitoring employee attendance related to health concerns (e.g., sick leave trends)
- Prepare and submit health-related reports for internal and regulatory compliance
Workplace Safety & Prevention
- Assist in implementing workplace safety and health programs
- Support incident investigations and recommend preventive measures
- Promote safe work practices in coordination with HR and Safety Officers
Health Programs & Education
- Organize wellness programs, vaccination drives, and health awareness campaigns
- Provide health education on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices
Emergency Response
- Respond to workplace emergencies and provide immediate care
- Coordinate emergency transport and referrals when necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse (PRC Licensed)
- With or without experience
- With BOSH/COSH training is an advantage
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
