Description
Clinical Care
Provide comprehensive dermatology consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of skin conditionsPerform advanced cosmetic and aesthetic procedures in line with approved clinical privilegesDevelop and implement individualised patient treatment plans and monitor outcomes
Patient Management & Education
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and clinical examinationsEducate patients on treatment options, skincare, preventive care, and medication usagePromote health awareness, disease prevention, and long-term patient engagement
Diagnostics & Treatment
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and investigationsPrescribe appropriate medications and therapies in line with clinical guidelinesMaintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation
Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to local healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and accreditation requirementsFollow internal policies, procedures, and clinical governance frameworksParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with national healthcare standards
Collaboration & Leadership
Provide clinical guidance and second opinions to junior physicians and specialistsSupport performance management and development of medical staff where requiredWork closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Continuous Development
Participate in continuing medical education (CME), clinical audits, and professional development activitiesContribute to internal training sessions, case discussions, and knowledge-sharing initiativesStay up to date with advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Medicine & Surgery, with MD / Board Certification / Fellowship in DermatologyLicensed as a Consultant Dermatologist by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialisation experience in dermatologyValid cosmetic/aesthetic practice license (mandatory)Strong experience in cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic proceduresWestern qualification preferred (UK, US, Europe, or equivalent)Ideally brings an existing patient base / strong client followingCurrently based in Saudi Arabia, preferably in or willing to relocate to DammamFluent in Arabic and EnglishStrong interpersonal and patient engagement skills
