Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Ayurveda Doctor based in Udupi. The role involves diagnosing and treating patients using Ayurvedic principles, creating personalized treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. The Ayurveda Doctor will also be involved in educating patients about preventive care, promoting wellness, and working with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Documentation and research on outcomes and treatments will also be a part of the responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Ayurveda principles, diagnostics, and treatment methodologies
- Knowledge of herbal medicine, therapeutic diets, and yoga as part of holistic treatment
- Excellent patient communication skills and the ability to educate patients about preventive care and healthy living
- Experience in healthcare research, data collection, and documentation
- Commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly healthcare practices
- Knowledge and experience in purvakarmas and panchkarma procedures
- Previous experience in a clinical or wellness setting is an added advantage
- Passion for integrating traditional knowledge with modern healthcare practices
