What You’ll Do:
- Assess, plan, and implement tailored physiotherapy treatment plans for residents.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.
- Monitor progress and adapt treatment programs to maximise residents’ mobility and independence.
- Provide one-to-one and group therapy sessions that focus on maintaining and improving residents' physical wellbeing.
- Support residents through goal-setting and motivational encouragement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all therapy sessions and progress notes.
- Ensure physiotherapy practices are carried out in line with best practice, respecting the dignity, privacy, and choices of each resident.
- Keep therapy areas tidy and equipment maintained in line with infection control and safety protocols.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and governance meetings as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualification in physiotherapy, BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- CORU registration is essential for this role.
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience, ideally working with older adults or in a healthcare/residential care setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A compassionate and encouraging nature with a resident-focused mindset.
- Full Irish Driver’s License is essential.
