The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate Medical Doctor to join as a Co-Founder. This is not a traditional clinical job — it is a founding leadership role where you will shape the clinical vision, build the product alongside AI engineers, and help scale a mission-driven healthcare ecosystem.
You will bring real-world medical expertise (especially in pediatrics) to ensure our AI tools are clinically accurate, safe, empathetic, and truly useful for Indian families and doctors.
Key Responsibilities
• Clinical Leadership & Product Vision: Co-define the medical strategy and clinical pathways, with special focus on pediatric care, primary health, preventive wellness, and common childhood conditions.
• AI + Medicine Integration: Work closely with AI engineers to train, validate, and refine AI models for symptom assessment, triage, personalized advice, and decision support. Provide clinical oversight to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Patient Care Excellence: Lead or supervise virtual consultations and in-home visits (initially hands-on, later more strategic). Help design workflows that blend human empathy with AI efficiency.
• Product Development: Collaborate on building user-friendly tools for doctors, patients, and parents — including pediatric growth tracking, vaccination reminders, developmental screening, and family health management.
• Regulatory & Quality: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy (HIPAA-like standards), and medical ethics in India.
• Growth & Ecosystem Building: Support fundraising, partnerships with hospitals/clinics, go-to-market strategy, and expansion of our AI-hospital ecosystem. Represent Mednevo at medical conferences and among the doctor community.
• Team & Culture: Help build a high-trust, innovative team culture that attracts top medical and tech talent.
What We’re Looking For
• Medical Qualification: MBBS from a recognized institution (mandatory). MD/DNB Pediatrics (pursuing or completed) is a strong advantage.
• Experience: 0-2 years post-MBBS (including internships or residency). Fresh graduates or final-year MD candidates with strong academic records and genuine interest in technology are encouraged to apply.
• Passion for AI & Innovation: Curiosity or experience in digital health, telemedicine, or AI applications in medicine. No prior tech experience required — we value clinical insight and willingness to learn.
• Pediatric Interest: Strong preference for candidates with exposure to or deep interest in pediatrics — child health, neonatology, developmental pediatrics, or family medicine.
• Founder Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit, ownership attitude, resilience, and excitement about building something from the ground up. Ability to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced startup.
• Skills: Excellent communication (especially with patients/parents), empathy, basic tech-savviness, and comfort working in a remote/hybrid setup.
• Location: Open to candidates in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, or willing to relocate/base in Chennai/Thiruvananthapuram.
