Provide occupational therapy services to children of all ages with physical, developmental, or cognitive impairments.
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate children's functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings.
Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to improve children's physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning.
Help children improve their daily living skills, such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and eating.
Design and recommend adaptive equipment or assistive devices to enhance patients' independence and safety.
Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on effective strategies for managing functional limitations and promoting optimal functioning.
Monitor patients' progress regularly and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Document patients' evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner.
Stay updated on current research, best practices, and advancements in occupational therapy to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and respecting patients' rights and privacy.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education activities.
Comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards relevant to occupational therapy practice.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and outcome measures to enhance the effectiveness of occupational therapy services.
