Job Description: As a member of the Youth Day Program, Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Community Mental Health Nurse (CMHN) is an integral member of Youth Mental Health Services. The Day Program is a therapeutic alternative school that focuses on academics, recreational therapeutic groups, social, and life skills to stabilize a youth's mental health and/or addiction issue and gain abilities to reintegrate into mainstream school. The CMHN is responsible for coordinating the Youth Day Program intakes, consulting with community members about potential referrals, collaborating with team members to establish a treatment plan, continually collecting information to adjust and adapt the treatment plan, supporting transition from the program and assist with post-transition support. The position also has a program coordination component which involves administration duty that keeps the team organized and up-to-date, scheduling meetings, etc to facilitate daily routines and support the team as whole.

Experience
- Five (3) years experience in Mental Health
Education
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Memberships
- Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Other Education and Training
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Workplace Assessment & Violence Education (WAVE)
- Current PART and CPR certification
- Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable
