Job Summary
XZ RMT Physio Clinic in Markham, We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapists to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, and community care. This role involves developing and implementing personalized care plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall patient well-being. The Physiotherapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality physiotherapy services tailored to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and acute care patients.
Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations of physiology and anatomy knowledge.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans focusing on recovery goals and discharge planning.
- Administer various physiotherapy treatments such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Document patient interactions accurately using JaneApp systems and maintain detailed medical records.
- Educate patients and their families on home & community care routines to support ongoing recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and clinic settings to coordinate effective care.
- Assist in discharge planning by evaluating patient needs for continued therapy or community support services.
- Stay current with advances in physiotherapy techniques and medical terminology relevant to orthopedic, pediatric, geriatric, and acute care populations.
Experience
- Proven experience in inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy settings within clinics.
- Demonstrated expertise in care plans for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and acute care patients.
- Experience with home & community care programs and home health services is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
- Hands-on experience with trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, and rehabilitation techniques such as physiotherapy for post-surgical or injury recovery.
- Prior work in hospital or clinic environments demonstrating strong patient care skills and teamwork capabilities is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one physiotherapy assessments and treatments
- Create personalized treatment plans with circle care
- Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients
- Work collaborate with other clinic staff to achieve well-rounded care, and follow the clinic rule and keep the treatment room clean and stay professional and independent
- Strong time management ability
Qualifications:
- Registered Physiotherapist ( College of Physiotherapists of Ontario)
- Good communication skills and professional work ethic
- Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related field
- Ability to work independently and provide patient-focused care
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities

Pay: $50.00-$114.00 per hour
