General Practitioners
Shannondoc is recruiting General Practitioners to join our team in the South-West of Ireland.
Reporting to:
Doctor Manager - Medical Directors
Contract:
- 38-hour Contract
- Evening, overnight, weekend & public holiday shifts
- Flexibility required.
Location:
- Shannondoc various Treatment Centres

Essential Requirements
- General Practice
- Must be registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
- Be Fluent in English language, both verbal and written
- Have a clear understanding of the IMC Standards and Regulations
- Medical Indemnity Insurance
- Be flexible working locations to include Limerick, North Tipperary and Clare
- Experience in at least one of the following disciplines is desirable: *Accident and Emergency * Paediatrics * General Practice * Obstetrics *Mental Health
Qualifications/Skills:
- Doctor Degree
- IMC Registraion
- Basic IT skills required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, desirable.
- Excellent Communication Skills inclusive of written and verbal communication.
- Proactive with good initiative.
- Friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Professional Phone etiquette.
- Strong Organisational skills and efficient time management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong awareness of confidentiality and data protection
