About the role
Ready to build your surgical experience in a role where you’re trusted, supported, and truly hands-on from day one?
Join the well-integrated General Surgery team at Noble’s Hospital, as a Surgical Clinical Fellow Doctor. In this non-training role, you’ll be at the centre of day-to-day patient care - managing both elective and non-elective surgical patients on the ward, attending outpatient clinics, and getting involved in elective theatre lists. Working as part of one of four consultant-led teams, you’ll gain invaluable exposure to routine care while developing core general surgical skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
This is a role that keeps you engaged and developing. You’ll be part of a 1 in 8 on-call rota, providing 1st on-call cover within a well-supported structure that includes experienced Associate Specialists and Consultants. Based at Noble’s Hospital, the Island’s District General Hospital, you’ll benefit from a varied caseload across two wards, a dedicated surgical clinic, and a well-equipped radiology department. Although not a Deanery-approved training post, learning is at the heart of what we do - offering unique opportunities to build experience in both routine and complex cases, including high-velocity trauma linked to the Island’s world-famous road racing events.
If you’re looking for hands-on experience, supportive colleagues, and a genuinely rewarding work-life balance - apply now and take the next step in your surgical career!
