Job Description – Physiotherapist
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Physiotherapist to work with children with multiple disabilities. The candidate will be responsible for assessing children’s physical and sensory needs, planning individualised therapy programs, and supporting their overall development and well-being.
The role involves working closely with parents, Special Educators, and medical professionals to ensure effective therapy support across home, school, and therapy environments. The candidate should have good communication, assessment, and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess children’s motor and sensory difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualised physiotherapy plans.
- Monitor and regularly review children’s progress.
- Guide parents and Special Educators regarding therapy goals and strategies.
- Maintain therapy records, reports, and case studies.
- Recommend and guide the use of therapy aids and equipment.
- Support children in improving mobility, posture, and physical function.
- Coordinate with centre heads to maintain quality therapy programs.
- Handle therapy-related enquiries and admissions support.
- Participate in meetings, events, and organisational activities.
- Maintain therapy equipment and ensure proper usage.
- Stay updated with new therapy techniques and share knowledge with the team.
