Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Pharmacist at Jean Coutu, located in Sackville, NB. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications, counseling patients on their use, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include advising customers on over-the-counter medications, collaborating with healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate patient records to ensure optimal care.
Qualifications
- Expertise in pharmaceutical dispensing, patient medication counseling, and prescription verification
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy operations
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and basic computer applications
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the applicable regulatory body
- Previous experience in a retail pharmacy is an asset
