Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Officer based in Coimbatore. The Medical Officer will provide exceptional patient care, conduct medical examinations, diagnose and treat patients, and perform necessary medical procedures or minor surgeries. The role also involves collaborating with other physicians and healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing training and health-related guidance to staff and students. The Medical Officer will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of health services within the university campus.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Medicine and Patient Care
- Experience in Surgery and working collaboratively with Physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to provide Training and health-related education to staff and students
- Excellent diagnostic, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work compassionately with diverse individuals
- MBBS or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution (postgraduate qualification in Medicine or related field is an advantage)
- Valid registration with the relevant Medical Council
- Previous experience in an educational institution or residential campus setting is a plus
