Key Responsibilities:
· Blood Collection: Performing venipuncture (drawing blood from a vein) or fingersticks to collect blood samples.
· Patient Preparation: Explaining the procedure to patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort.
· Sample Handling: Properly labeling blood vials, preparing specimens for transport, and ensuring accurate matching to patient information.
· Equipment Maintenance: Sterilizing and maintaining equipment used for blood collection.
· Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate patient records related to blood draws.
· Safety and Hygiene: Adhering to strict safety and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination and infections.
· Communication: Effectively communicating with patients and other healthcare professionals.
· Machine Handling: Proper Machine Handling as per Company Guidelines
