Associate Physician — Preventive & Longevity Care
Member's primary point of contact; works under a Senior Physician
Location: Chennai · Type: Full-time · Reports to: Senior Physician
About PRVNT
PRVNT is a physician-led preventive health membership. We combine in-depth diagnostics, continuous monitoring and personalised medical guidance to help members detect risk early, act on it, and stay ahead of disease — prevention-first care built around each member's biology.
The Role
You are the member's primary medical point of contact — the doctor they speak to regularly and trust. You own the day-to-day clinical relationship while a Senior Physician leads the case and sets the clinical direction. This is a role for an early-career doctor who wants to build deep expertise in preventive and longevity medicine by working closely under an experienced clinician, in a setting that values communication and judgment as much as knowledge.
You will be the calm, clear medical voice for members: translating the Senior Physician's plans into language they understand, knowing what is routine versus what needs urgent attention, and never causing alarm where none is warranted.
What you'll do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned panel of members
- Communicate test results, plans and next steps clearly, accurately and calmly
- Triage member queries and biomarker flags — distinguish routine from urgent, and escalate appropriately to the Senior Physician
- Carry out and document structured assessments, histories and follow-ups
- Translate the Senior Physician's clinical plan into member-facing guidance and track adherence over time
- Coordinate with the wider team (Senior Physician, specialists, coaches, dietitians, diagnostics)
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records for each member
- Continuously learn preventive and longevity medicine through direct mentorship and case review with the Senior Physician
Required
- MBBS from a recognised institution; valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council (TNMC) / NMC
- 0–3 years post-internship clinical experience
- Sound general clinical knowledge and reliable judgment on what is routine vs. urgent
- Excellent communication — able to explain medical information clearly and reassure without over- or under-stating risk
- Genuine interest in preventive, lifestyle and longevity medicine, and eagerness to train under a senior clinician
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu or others) are a strong bonus for member rapport
- Comfort with digital tools (EMR, wearables, member apps)
Preferred (not required)
- MD/DNB in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Community Medicine
- Exposure to or certification in lifestyle/preventive medicine, or demonstrable self-driven learning in longevity approaches
- Prior experience in concierge, corporate, or premium/private healthcare
- Experience managing affluent or high-expectation clientele
You might be a fit if you
- Are early in your career but want depth in prevention rather than volume-driven practice
- Communicate with warmth and precision, and stay composed under pressure
- Know the limits of your experience and escalate rather than improvise
- Want to be mentored into a specialist preventive-medicine clinician over time

- A structured learning pathway in an emerging, high-growth field
- Competitive compensation
- Indemnity / malpractice cover
- A premium, non-shift, relationship-based practice environment
