Position: Business Development Executive β Doctor Referral
π Department: Marketing / Business Development
π Reporting To: Business Development Manager / Marketing Head
π― Job Purpose
To develop and manage doctor referral networks by building strong relationships with clinics, hospitals, and healthcare professionals, thereby increasing patient inflow and revenue for the hospital.
π Key Responsibilities
1. π€ Doctor Relationship Management
- Identify and connect with referring doctors, clinics, and hospitals
- Build long-term professional relationships with consultants (GPs & specialists)
- Maintain regular visits and follow-ups with referral doctors
2. π Business Development
- Generate patient referrals for IP and OP services
- Promote hospital specialties (ICU, Cardiology, Orthopedics, etc.)
- Achieve monthly and annual referral targets
3. π Coordination & Support
- Coordinate between referring doctors and hospital consultants
- Ensure smooth patient admission and service experience
- Track referred cases and update doctors on patient progress
4. π’ Marketing Activities
- Organize CME programs, health camps, and doctor meets
- Represent hospital in medical events and conferences
- Promote new services, technologies, and consultants
5. π Reporting & MIS
- Maintain doctor database and referral records
- Submit daily / weekly visit reports
- Track conversion ratio (referrals β admissions)
π Qualification
- Bachelorβs degree (MBA in Marketing preferred)
- Experience in hospital marketing / pharma sales / healthcare BD preferred
