Job Summary:
Bormla Multispeciality Medical Centre is hiring qualified and compassionate Nurses for its healthcare facility located in Fuq San Pawl, Bormla, Malta. The Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting doctors and medical teams, monitoring patient health, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safe and professional nursing practices at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical standards and medical instructions.
- Monitor patients’ health conditions, vital signs, symptoms, and treatment progress.
- Assist doctors and healthcare professionals during consultations, procedures, examinations, and treatments.
- Administer medication, injections, dressings, and other nursing care as prescribed by medical practitioners.
- Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, treatment documentation, and clinical reports.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication use, follow-up care, and general health guidance.
- Ensure infection control, hygiene, patient safety, and healthcare quality standards are followed.
- Support emergency care, patient admission, discharge, and referral processes when required.
- Coordinate with doctors, specialists, administrative staff, and other healthcare team members.
- Follow all applicable healthcare regulations, workplace policies, and professional nursing standards in Malta.
Candidate Requirements
- Recognized nursing qualification or diploma/degree in Nursing.
- Valid nursing registration, licence, or eligibility to register as required by Malta healthcare authorities.
- Previous hospital, clinic, multispeciality centre, or healthcare facility experience preferred.
- Strong patient care, communication, and clinical observation skills.
- Ability to work professionally in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Good knowledge of nursing procedures, patient safety, infection control, and documentation practices.
- Compassionate, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in Fuq San Pawl, Bormla, Malta.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary ranging from €30,000 to €54,016 per annum, depending on qualifications, experience, registration status, and suitability for the role.
Additional benefits may include overtime and other statutory benefits as applicable under Malta government laws and employment regulations.
