Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Intensivist located at the VHS campus in Chennai. The Intensivist will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU, leading multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical interventions in a time-sensitive setting. Daily duties will also include overseeing patient treatment plans, collaborating with other departments, and providing clinical guidance to critical care staff. The role demands active participation in maintaining high standards of patient safety and care delivery within the hospital.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine
- Proficiency in Medicine and specialized skills in Critical Care Nursing
- Experience in Anesthesiology with a focus on critical care treatment approaches
- Strong clinical decision-making and leadership abilities
- Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care
- MD or equivalent postgraduate degree in a relevant medical specialty
- Prior experience in managing ICU patients is highly desirable
