Role Description
The Pharmacist will ensure the accurate dispensing of medications, providing appropriate guidance to customers about prescriptions, dosage, and potential side effects. Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, maintaining inventory levels, managing stock, and ensuring compliance with healthcare and safety regulations. The role also involves assisting in the promotion of health awareness and providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in pharmaceutical science, prescription processing, and patient care.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in dispensing medications, and a commitment to compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction and guidance.
- Proficiency in inventory management and the ability to manage pharmacy workflows efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- A valid pharmacist license is mandatory.
- Experience in retail pharmacy or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of drug interactions and ability to provide advice on safe medication usage.
