The organization consists of over 1,000 members and 2,000 volunteers, dedicated to rapid disaster response and healthcare support. Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Medical Doctor for an on-site role located in Mumbai. The Medical Doctor will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, providing emergency medical care, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality services. Key responsibilities include conducting routine patient examinations, managing disease prevention efforts, and participating in health initiatives. The role also involves responding to disaster situations and supporting the organization's mission with a focus on health equity and community care.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Diagnosing, Treating Patients, and Providing Emergency Medical Care
- Experience in Disease Prevention, Public Healthcare Initiatives, and Medical Outreach
- Strong Communication, Team Collaboration, and Adaptability Skills
- Ability to Work Effectively in Crisis and Disaster-Response Situations
- Current Medical License and Familiarity with Healthcare Compliance Standards
- Prior experience in humanitarian or disaster-response settings is highly beneficial
