About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospital Pharmacist to join our team in Hauz Khas, New Delhi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication management, supporting patient care, and collaborating closely with healthcare professionals in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and in compliance with physician prescriptions and regulatory requirements.
- Review and monitor patients' medication therapies for safety, effectiveness, and potential drug interactions.
- Provide drug information and counseling to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation using EMR and Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS).
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory management of pharmaceuticals.
- Participate in medication management initiatives and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Support clinical decision-making through pharmaceutical expertise and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Valid and current Pharmacist License/Registration in Delhi.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist in a hospital, oncology, or clinical pharmacy setting.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS).
- Strong understanding of drug therapy, medication management, and clinical pharmacy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in oncology pharmacy or specialty care settings.
- Knowledge of medication safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Patient counseling and clinical intervention experience.
