Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Salaried General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care across a variety of settings, including general practice, nursing homes, and specialised clinics. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions across all age groups
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and community services as needed
- Engage in clinical research initiatives to support evidence-based practice
- Provide specialised care in areas such as ICU, hospice, or home care when required
- Utilise knowledge of anatomy and medical imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Offer senior care and public health advice to optimise patient wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
Requirements
- Fully qualified GP with registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Proven experience in patient care, including nursing home or senior care environments
- Knowledge of anatomy, medication administration, and clinical procedures
- Experience or interest in clinical research, public health, or specialised fields such as ICU or hospice care is desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to healthcare regulations
