Job Summary:
The Hijama Doctor is responsible for providing safe, effective, and professional cupping therapy (Hijama) treatments to patients in accordance with clinical protocols, health regulations, and infection control standards. The practitioner assesses patients, explains treatment procedures, performs Hijama therapy, and maintains accurate medical records while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical degree or recognized healthcare qualification as required by local regulations.
- Valid MOH, DHA, or DOH license/eligibility (depending on emirate requirements).
- Certification or training in Hijama (Cupping Therapy) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in maintaining electronic medical records.
