Established in 2015, the clinic is led by founder Dr. Ankit Srivastava (MPTh Ortho Sports and Musculoskeletal Physio), who has treated recreational, semi-professional, and professional athletes competing at state and national levels. Services include dry needling, individualized exercise programs, conditioning, counseling, prenatal and postnatal care, yoga, and neuro-rehabilitation. PhysioActive focuses on accurate diagnosis, evidence-based physiotherapy, and consistent follow-up to support faster, stronger, and more sustainable recovery outcomes for clients.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Physiotherapist role based in Pune Division. The Senior Physiotherapist will independently assess clients, formulate evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver hands-on therapy for sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, postural issues, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Daily responsibilities include conducting detailed assessments, prescribing individualized exercise programs, supervising therapy sessions (including group, aquatic, and sports-specific rehab), and monitoring client progress with clear documentation. The role also involves educating clients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and long-term conditioning, as well as mentoring junior physiotherapists and interns to ensure consistent clinical standards. The Senior Physiotherapist will collaborate closely with the clinic leadership to refine treatment protocols, support case discussions, and contribute to a client-centered, outcome-focused practice environment.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical skills in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, including assessment, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and post-operative rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated experience in treating sports injuries, spine and posture-related conditions, and designing individualized rehab and conditioning programs.
- Ability to plan and lead group therapy sessions (e.g., spine, knee, shoulder), and familiarity with aquatic therapy, dry needling, or yoga-based rehabilitation is an advantage.
- Strong communication and counseling skills to educate and motivate clients, with a client-centered, empathetic, and professional approach.
- Experience mentoring junior clinicians or interns, with sound clinical reasoning and decision-making in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
- Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (preferably in Orthopedics, Sports, or Musculoskeletal) from a recognized institution, with valid professional registration.
- Comfort with clinical documentation, basic use of digital tools or clinic software, and maintaining organized treatment records.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as per clinic and client needs, and commitment to continuing professional development through courses
