Role Description This is a full-time, on-site MD Medicine Doctor role based at Krishna Multispeciality Hospital’s facility in Gondal. The physician will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, including clinical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting ward rounds, managing emergency and critical cases in coordination with ICU staff, and collaborating with other specialists to deliver integrated care. The role involves ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing appropriate medications, creating individualized management plans, and documenting care in medical records with accuracy and timeliness. The MD Medicine Doctor will also counsel patients and families, participate in clinical meetings, support hospital protocols for infection control and patient safety, and contribute to audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Recognized MBBS and MD (Medicine) degrees from an accredited institution, with valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI)/State Medical Council.
- Strong clinical skills in internal medicine, including evaluation and management of common and complex adult medical conditions.
- Ability to interpret laboratory investigations, imaging, and other diagnostic tests to inform evidence-based treatment plans.
- Experience managing inpatient care, including wards and, preferably, exposure to ICU/step-down units.
- Effective communication and counseling skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a respectful, culturally sensitive manner.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, prioritize tasks, and make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, accurate documentation, and confidentiality.
- Willingness to participate in hospital duties, including rotational shifts, emergencies, and on-call responsibilities as required.
- Basic proficiency with electronic medical records or readiness to learn hospital information systems.
- Prior experience in a multispeciality or tertiary care hospital is an advantage, though suitably qualified early-career doctors are also encouraged to apply.
