Role Description This is a full-time, on-site MDS (any specialty) position based at Varahi Dental Care in Andhra Pradesh, India. The MDS will provide comprehensive clinical care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of dental procedures aligned with their specialty and general dentistry. Daily responsibilities include performing clinical examinations, recommending appropriate treatment options, and delivering procedures such as restorations, endodontic work, prosthodontic care, periodontal therapy, pediatric treatments, or other specialty services as applicable. The role involves maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols, and collaborating with the dental team to deliver safe, evidence-based care. The MDS will also counsel patients on treatment plans, post-operative care, and preventive oral health practices, supporting a positive and reassuring patient experience.
Qualifications
- Completed MDS degree in any recognized dental specialty from an accredited institution, with valid Dental Council registration.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of specialty and general dental procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of infection control, sterilization protocols, and current clinical guidelines.
- Ability to explain treatment options clearly and counsel patients in a calm, reassuring, and patient-centric manner.
- Comfort working in a high-quality, cost-conscious practice, with attention to accuracy and timely documentation.
- Effective collaboration skills to work with assistants, front-office staff, and other clinicians in a team-based setting.
- Willingness to work on-site full time in Andhra Pradesh, India, with flexibility for clinic schedules as needed.
