Ayurveda Doctor
Leverage the knowledge of Ayurveda to formulate products for common diseases (including personal care), work to identify the impact on underlying markers in the body and participate in studies to prove its efficacy
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose the underlying cause of the diseases and the underlying markers that could be impacted
- Develop, formulate, and optimize ayurvedic medicines for the various diseases
- Define methodologies with biochemists to check the impact of different drugs on various markers
- Conduct stability testing, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations to ensure product efficacy and safety.
- Support product claims substantiation and regulatory documentation as needed.
- Oversee pilot plant trials, troubleshooting any formulation challenges and optimizing processes for manufacturing efficiency (mid-scale to large-scale production).
Skill sets
- Minimum BAMS Doctor.
- Ideally worked in ayurvedic product development and manufacturing company and has formulated own products
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
