The position is for a nurse working in a community based clinic specializing in venous disease management (phlebology).
Responsibilities:
- Assist in patient consultation
- Assist in ultrasound assessment of patients
- Assist in ultrasound guided sclerotherapy of varicose veins
- Assist in endovenous laser ablation
- Perform sclerotherapy of small cosmetic veins
- Take patient vitals
- Preparation of procedure trays/stations
- Autoclave/steam sterilization of procedural tools
- Communicate with patients over the phone
- Compression stocking fitting
- Manage medical supplies
- Minor wound care
- Supply management and ordering
- Support front reception
Desired work experience:
Any degree of experience would be considered.
Education:
Registered Nurse - Bachelor of Science in Nursing
