Role Description The Pharmacist at SKILLforge Solutions’ client site in Chennai will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The role includes counseling patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions, as well as maintaining detailed records for prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances. The Pharmacist will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and support high-quality patient care. Additional responsibilities include overseeing stock management, participating in quality assurance activities, and adhering to company policies and local regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong clinical pharmacy skills, including prescription review, drug interaction assessment, and medication therapy management.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of pharmacology, dosage calculations, and current best practices in patient counseling.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with pharmacy information systems, electronic medical records, and basic computer literacy.
- Candidates should possess a clear understanding of regulatory requirements, controlled substance handling, and medication safety protocols.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution and appropriate licensure/registration as a Pharmacist in India.
