Nicomed offers independent in‑patient and out‑patient services, including physical therapy, clinical psychology, speech therapy, and orthosis/prosthesis workshops under one roof. The team consists of highly motivated, qualified, and experienced professionals who provide trusted care in orthopedics, post‑operative rehabilitation, sports medicine, amputee care, and pediatric physiotherapy. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based at Nicomed Rehabilitation Center in Limassol, Cyprus. The Physiotherapist will assess patients with diverse motor, orthopedic, post‑operative, sports-related, and neurological conditions, and develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans. Daily responsibilities include conducting physiotherapy sessions, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of rehabilitation equipment, while monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed. The role involves close collaboration with clinical psychology, speech therapy, and orthosis/prosthesis professionals to ensure integrated, multidisciplinary care. The Physiotherapist will document clinical findings and outcomes, educate patients and families on home exercise programs and prevention strategies, and contribute to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
- Formal education and licensing: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent), with valid registration/licensure to practice as a Physiotherapist in Cyprus or eligibility to obtain it.
- Clinical experience: Prior experience in orthopedics, post‑operative rehabilitation, sports medicine, amputee care, or pediatric physiotherapy within a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
- Technical and therapeutic skills: Strong assessment skills, treatment planning, manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise prescription, and safe use of rehabilitation equipment and assistive devices.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care with psychologists, speech therapists, and orthosis/prosthesis specialists.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Clear, empathetic communication with patients and families, strong documentation skills, and the ability to build trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Professional attributes: Commitment to evidence‑based practice, ongoing professional development, ethical and patient‑centered care, with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Language and additional skills: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Greek is an advantage
