Role Description The Consultant Physiotherapist will provide full-time, on-site clinical care at ActivePro’s facility in Kundapura. Responsibilities include conducting detailed assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering physiotherapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy. The role involves monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and educating clients and caregivers on home exercise programs, posture, and injury prevention. The Consultant Physiotherapist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed, participate in case discussions, and support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the centre.
Qualifications
- Recognized Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution; valid registration or license as required by local regulatory authorities.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities, with experience managing musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation cases.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise prescription, and use of common physiotherapy modalities and equipment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to educate clients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide empathetic, patient-centered care.
- Sound documentation and organizational skills, including maintaining accurate records, managing time effectively, and handling multiple cases concurrently.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and safety standards in a clinical setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site environment in Kundapura; familiarity with local language and culture is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a physiotherapy or rehabilitation centre is preferred, though motivated early-career professionals with strong clinical internships may be considered.
