We Are Hiring: Healthcare Professional – Lung Health & Environmental Health
Join Project VORIC: a mission-driven initiative working at the intersection of lung health, occupational exposure, environmental contamination, research, education, and policy impact.
About VORIC
Pollution and exposure to environmental contaminants are among the most urgent health challenges facing India and the world. Project VORIC is being built to make a measurable difference in this field by improving screening, education, research, and policy engagement for populations at high risk of occupational and environmental exposure.
This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who wants to take ownership of critical clinical and public-health aspects of the project and contribute to work that can influence local, national, and international conversations on environmental and occupational health.
We are looking for people who want to build a meaningful career pathway in occupational, environmental, and respiratory health—not just take up another job.
Work Includes
• Screening and clinical evaluation of workers and other high-risk populations
• Conducting and supporting lung-health testing and exposure-related assessments; training will be provided where required
• Patient education on lung health, medications, breathing practices, lifestyle, and risk reduction
• Data collection, analysis, documentation, and reporting
• Research, publications, presentations, and contribution to policy-facing work
• Regular knowledge-building in the field, including reading, learning, and staying updated on emerging work in occupational and environmental health
Who Can Apply
• MBBS doctors and healthcare professionals
• Candidates with an interest in pulmonology, lung health, public health, occupational health, or environmental health
• People who are motivated to learn, take responsibility, work with patients and communities, and grow with the project
What You Get
• A meaningful role where the value of the work goes beyond salary
• Training, mentoring, and support from experienced professionals
• Exposure to a national and international ecosystem of professionals working to improve occupational and environmental health
• Opportunities to contribute to research, publications, presentations, and policy discussions
We Are Looking for Someone Who Says
“I want to make a difference. I want to give back. I want to be part of change. I want to build a career in this space.”
