About this role:
- Maintain full audit readiness for all clinic health files, medical waste disposal tracking, and emergency equipment in accordance with DOH standards and UAE federal healthcare laws.
- Conducting regular health and safety assessments on-site.
- Providing immediate first aid and medical care in case of injuries or emergencies.
- Collaborating with the Health and Safety team to develop and implement safety protocols.
- Monitoring and promoting general health and well-being among the workforces.
- Managing and maintaining health records for all site personnel.
- Conducting health and safety training sessions for workers.
- Collaborating with external medical professionals and services when necessary.
- Keeping abreast of industry health and safety standards and regulations.
- Advising on the implementation of preventive health measures.
Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:
- In addition to all job-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible for familiarizing themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Basatin HSE department regularly updates existing and introduces new policies, procedures, and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions
Information Security responsibilities:
- Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies
- Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities
- Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training
- Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
- Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus
- Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.
- Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited university or institute
- Valid and active Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi License – Strictly Mandatory.
- HAAD Certification
- Minimum 5years of overall professional nursing experience within hospital, clinical, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience operating as a standalone site or industrial nurse managing construction/landscaping remote clinics.
- Candidates shall have good knowledge of first aid treatment, incident response, heat stress management, medical screening, health awareness, ambulance coordination, injury reporting, and medical records management.
- Candidates shall have good communication, coordination, observation, reporting, documentation, emergency response, and patient care skills.
