Job Overview
Our client in Lucknow requires a Hospital Quality Coordinator to support quality-improvement, patient-safety and documentation activities across clinical and non-clinical departments. This role is suited to a healthcare professional who understands hospital workflow and can work with department heads to improve compliance, audit readiness and service consistency. The selected candidate will help translate quality standards into practical daily routines without disrupting patient care.
Detailed Job Description
The Hospital Quality Coordinator will assist in monitoring hospital policies, SOP implementation, patient-safety indicators, incident reporting, consent documentation, infection-control coordination, medical-record completeness, departmental audits and corrective-action follow-up. The role involves preparing audit checklists, collecting data from departments, supporting training sessions, maintaining quality files, coordinating with nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, front office and housekeeping teams, and tracking closure of observations raised during internal reviews. The coordinator will also help improve patient-feedback processes, service-recovery documentation and communication between quality, operations and clinical leadership.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be organised, diplomatic and comfortable working with multiple departments. They should understand that quality work requires both documentation discipline and practical relationship-building with busy clinical teams. Strong writing skills, Excel or hospital information system familiarity, attention to detail and knowledge of basic NABH concepts will be important.
Licensing / Registration Notes
No clinical licence is required unless the candidate is applying through a nursing or clinical background. Relevant academic certificates, previous employment proof and any quality-management training records will be verified by the employer.
