Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Doctors role based in Trivandrum. The role involves providing high-quality, evidence-based clinical care, including assessing patients, diagnosing conditions, ordering and interpreting investigations, and developing appropriate treatment plans. Doctors will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care and contribute to rounds, case discussions and clinical decision-making. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, adhering to clinical protocols, regulatory standards and infection control guidelines, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. The role also includes patient and family communication, health education, participation in clinical audits, and, where applicable, involvement in teaching, training and research activities.
Qualifications
- Relevant medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution, with valid medical council registration.
- Completed internship and, where applicable, postgraduate specialization (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated clinical competence in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up care.
- Strong commitment to patient safety, quality standards, ethical medical practice and evidence-based care.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across specialties.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families and clinical colleagues.
- Comfort with using digital health records, clinical information systems and decision-support tools.
- Openness to continuous learning, participation in CME activities, and engagement in clinical research or quality improvement projects.
- Experience in high-volume tertiary care or multi-specialty hospital settings is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and on-call duties, as required by clinical services.
