Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Kakkanad, Kochi. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessing patient conditions, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with orthopedic procedures. Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and allied health professionals, preparing patients for treatment, and supporting care. The role involves educating patients and families about treatment plans, medication use, and self-care, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards. The Registered Nurse will also participate in infection control measures, quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive care environment.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in the applicable jurisdiction, with eligibility to work in Kochi.
- Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution; additional certification in orthopedic or surgical nursing is an advantage. GNM, ANM
- Strong clinical assessment skills, including patient monitoring, medication administration and wound care.
- Ability to follow evidence-based protocols, maintain detailed clinical records, and use electronic health record systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide clear patient and family education.
- Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement, with a focus on ethical and inclusive care practices.
- Flexibility to work in shifts as required, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple patients and priorities.
