The Registered Nurse - Emergency & Trauma Care is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses, traumatic injuries, and life-threatening emergencies. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will play a vital role in rapid assessment, stabilization, resuscitation, and ongoing management of patients, ensuring care is delivered in accordance with DOH/DHA regulations, evidence-based practices, and organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with traumatic injuries and emergency conditions.
- Deliver evidence-based emergency and trauma nursing care, including resuscitation support.
- Administer medications and emergency treatments while ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage critical and rapidly changing patient conditions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the care journey.
- Adhere to quality, safety, infection prevention, and emergency preparedness standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Valid medical license from Department of Health (DOH) as Registered Nurse or eligibility to get one.
- 3-5 years of Emergency, Trauma, or Acute Care nursing experience.
- Experience in trauma resuscitation and management of critically ill patients.
- Proven leadership and team lead experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS is an advantage.
- Strong critical‑thinking and decision‑making skills under pressure.
