Job Role: Pharmacist – Skin & Hair Clinic
Job Description
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and provide patients with clear instructions regarding dosage and usage.
- Manage the clinic pharmacy and maintain adequate stock of medicines and clinical consumables.
- Maintain proper storage conditions, including cold-chain storage for products that require temperature-controlled handling.
- Monitor inventory levels, expiry dates, and stock rotation.
- Flag low-stock and expired products and coordinate timely reordering.
- Maintain records of controlled and scheduled medicines in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with doctors and therapists regarding medicine and consumable availability for scheduled procedures.
- Maintain accurate purchase, sales, and stock registers.
- Support medication/product billing in coordination with the front-desk team.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of clinical products such as Botox, PRP/GFC kits, local anaesthetics, and dermal fillers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws and Telangana State Pharmacy Council regulations.
- Maintain accurate regulatory and inventory documentation.
- Work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pharmacy & Medication Management:
- Dispense medicines as prescribed.
- Explain dosage, usage, and relevant instructions to patients.
- Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate medication dispensing.
- Maintain proper pharmacy records and documentation.
Inventory Management
- Manage medication and clinical-consumable inventory.
- Monitor stock availability and expiry dates.
- Follow appropriate stock rotation procedures.
- Maintain cold-chain storage wherever required.
- Coordinate reordering of medicines and clinical supplies.
Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain records of controlled/scheduled drugs.
- Follow applicable pharmacy laws and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper maintenance of purchase, sales, and stock registers.
- Maintain accurate documentation for regulatory inspections.
Clinic Coordination
- Coordinate with doctors and therapists regarding stock requirements.
- Ensure medicines and clinical consumables are available for scheduled procedures.
- Coordinate with the front desk for billing of dispensed products.
Required Qualifications
- Education: D.Pharm or B.Pharm.
- Registration: Must be registered with the Telangana State Pharmacy Council.
- Prior experience in a clinic, hospital, or retail pharmacy is preferred.
- Good communication skills in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
- Basic knowledge of computers and inventory-management software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Honest and responsible approach to handling medicines and regulatory records.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
