Bluebird Care (LRW) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Nurse to provide high-quality, specialist care to a child with complex medical needs in a home-based setting. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the life of a child and their family while working in a supportive and professional environment.
Position Details:
- Location: Castlerea, Co. Roscommon
- Hours: 5 night shifts per week (between Monday to Saturday)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Contract Type: Full-time and part-time positions available
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care, including CPAP management, NG feeding, and medication administration.
- Monitor and manage respiratory health, seizure activity, and other critical health needs.
- Collaborate closely with families and healthcare teams to ensure personalized care plans.
Requirements:
- Active registration with NMBI as RCN, RGN, RNID, or RM.
- Experience in paediatric home care or acute paediatric settings is highly desirable.
- Proficient in CPAP, NG feeding, and seizure management.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Garda Vetting and full immunization/vaccination records required.
