About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Medical Doctor to join our specialist Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) clinic in Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to work in a growing area of men’s health, delivering evidence-based hormonal care in a modern, supportive clinical environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with testosterone deficiency and related endocrine conditions, ensuring care is delivered in line with Irish Medical Council standards and clinical best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, including medical history, symptom
- assessment, and physical evaluation
- Review and interpret laboratory investigations relevant to hormone health
- Diagnose testosterone deficiency and related conditions in line with evidence-based guidelines
- Prescribe, initiate, and monitor Testosterone Replacement Therapy where clinically appropriate
- Develop and manage individualised treatment plans, including ongoing monitoring and follow-up
- Provide clear patient education on treatment options, risks, benefits, and lifestyle considerations
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records
- Collaborate with nursing, administrative, and allied healthcare teams
- Ensure full compliance with Irish Medical Council regulations, clinical governance, and data protection standards
- Participate in continuous professional development and clinical audits as require
Essential Requirements
- Full registration with the Irish Medical Council
- Medical degree recognised in Ireland
- Eligibility to practise medicine independently in Ireland
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- High professional and ethical standards
Desirable Experience
- Experience or strong interest in men’s health, endocrinology, or hormone management
- Previous experience in TRT, sexual health, or private clinical practice
- Familiarity with telemedicine and remote consultations
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary clinical team
