Job Summary
QHT Clinic is looking for a responsible and qualified
Pharmacist to manage medicine dispensing, maintain pharmacy inventory, and support smooth clinic operations. The candidate will also assist at the
reception/front desk in the absence of the receptionist and ensure a good patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately as per doctor’s prescription.
- Verify prescriptions for correct dosage, interactions, and patient safety.
- Counsel patients on medicine usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects.
- Maintain proper records of medicines dispensed and patient details.
- Manage pharmacy stock, monitor expiry dates, and ensure timely replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per guidelines.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinic staff regarding medication requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
- Support front desk activities such as patient coordination and basic reception work when the receptionist is unavailable. Pharmacists in clinic settings typically handle medication dispensing, inventory management, and patient counselling to ensure safe treatment and compliance with medical regulations. (Qureos)
Eligibility Criteria
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm qualification is mandatory.
- Valid Haryana Pharmacy Council Registration OR willingness to transfer registration to Haryana.
- Prior experience in clinic/hospital pharmacy preferred (freshers may also apply).
Skills Required
- Good knowledge of medicines and prescriptions.
- Patient counselling and communication skills.
- Basic computer and billing knowledge.
- Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.
Working Conditions
- Shift: 10 hours per day
- Working Days: 6 days per week
- Work Mode: On-site (Clinic-based)
