Healthcare Recruiter – Pharmacist Hiring
Job Purpose
The Healthcare Recruiter – Pharmacist Hiring is responsible for end‑to‑end recruitment of qualified pharmacists to meet assigned hiring targets. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing pharmacist positions within defined timelines, while ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and a positive candidate experience.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesTalent Sourcing
- Source qualified Pharmacists (D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm) through multiple channels including job portals, social media, referrals, databases, and institutional connections.
- Apply proactive sourcing methods to identify and engage suitable candidates.
- Build and maintain a continuous pipeline of pharmacist profiles to support ongoing hiring needs.
Screening & Shortlisting
- Screen resumes for qualification, experience, and suitability for the role.
- Conduct initial telephonic or virtual interviews to assess:
- Educational background and work experience
- Role interest and availability
- Shift and location readiness
- Verify State Pharmacy Council registration and essential documentation during screening.
Interview Coordination & Hiring Closure
- Coordinate interview schedules and manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
- Follow up on interview feedback and ensure timely progress of candidates.
- Support offer communication and closure within approved guidelines.
- Ensure confirmations of joining to meet defined hiring targets.
Target & Performance Management
- Achieve assigned weekly and monthly hiring targets for pharmacist positions.
- Monitor pipeline status to avoid ageing and delays.
- Track offer acceptance and joining ratios and take corrective actions wherever required.
Recruitment Systems & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of candidate documentation prior to joining.
- Prepare and update recruitment status reports as required.
Candidate Experience
- Deliver a professional, transparent, and consistent experience to candidates across all stages of recruitment.
- Maintain timely communication regarding interview outcomes and next steps.
- Build long‑term engagement with candidates to support repeat hiring needs.
Market Awareness & Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed about pharmacist talent availability, salary trends, and market movements.
- Continuously review sourcing effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Adhere to recruitment processes, ethical hiring standards, and compliance norms.
Skills & Competencies
- Experience in healthcare or pharmacist recruitment preferred.
- Strong sourcing, screening, and hiring closure capabilities.
- Working knowledge of pharmacist qualifications and regulatory requirements in India.
- Good communication, coordination, and follow‑up skills.
- Ability to work in a target‑driven, fast‑paced recruitment environment.
