Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Grade / Associate Specialist (SAS) Psychiatrist to join our Autism Assessment Service. The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments for adults referred for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments, working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
This is a fully remote position offering flexibility and a strong clinical support structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake diagnostic assessments and contribute to the formulation of autism diagnoses.
- Collaborate with psychologists, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation and reports.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and service development activities.
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Significant experience working in psychiatry, ideally including neurodevelopmental or general adult mental health.
- Strong clinical judgement and ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable
- Approved Clinician status and/or Section 12 approval.
- MRCPsych or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Experience in NHS community or private neurodevelopmental services.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary diagnostic teams.

Pay: £60.00-£80.00 per hour
