MD Medicine – Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of adult diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, infections)
- Conduct physical exams and interpret lab tests, X-rays, ECGs, etc.
- Manage chronic illnesses and provide long-term care
- Handle emergency/internal medicine cases in hospitals
- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment plans
- Refer patients to specialists when needed
Clinical Duties
- Daily ward rounds (for admitted patients)
- OPD (Outpatient Department) consultations
- ICU patient management (in some settings)
- Case documentation and medical record keeping
