Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with physical conditions, injuries, or mobility limitations.
- Provide physiotherapy treatments and rehabilitation programs in both clinic and homecare settings.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercises, and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and documentation in line with healthcare standards.
- Ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based physiotherapy practices at all times.
Homecare Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned patient homecare locations to provide physiotherapy sessions.
- Ensure timely attendance and professional conduct during home visits.
- Assess the home environment and recommend necessary modifications or precautions to support patient recovery and safety.
- Coordinate with family members/caregivers regarding patient care and follow-up treatment.
Leadership & Team Management Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support junior physiotherapists and therapy assistants.
- Guide the physiotherapy team in treatment planning, case management, and best clinical practices.
- Assist in setting departmental goals, service standards, and operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinic protocols, and quality standards.
- Support training, mentoring, and performance development of team members.
Coordination & Administrative Responsibilities
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage patient scheduling and coordinate clinic/homecare treatment plans effectively.
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and service improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional knowledge through continuous learning and development.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Valid Physiotherapy License / Eligibility as per local healthcare authority requirements.
Experience
- Minimum 05 years of experience as a Physiotherapist.
- Prior experience in homecare and clinic settings is preferred.
- Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role is an advantage.
