We are a friendly, well-established General Practice seeking a Practice Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis (35–40 hours per week).
We are a two-GP practice with a supportive working environment, based in a busy town practice. Our clinic is fully computerised using Socrates, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys working in primary care and building relationships with patients.
Duties will include:
- Chronic disease management (diabetes, asthma, COPD)
- Cervical screening (desirable)
- Childhood and adult immunisations
- Wound care and dressings
- Phlebotomy and routine health checks
- Health promotion and patient education
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Registered with NMBI
- Friendly, approachable, and patient-focused
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
- Organised with good communication skills
Experience in General Practice, cervical screening, and immunisations would be an advantage, but not essential as training can be supported.
