Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teleconsultation Doctor to provide remote medical advice and support to patients via virtual platforms. This role involves delivering high-quality healthcare consultations, assessing patient needs, and offering appropriate guidance in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual consultations with patients, assessing their medical history, symptoms, and concerns.
- Provide accurate diagnoses and recommend appropriate treatment plans or referrals as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Offer health education and advice on preventive care, medication usage, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when specialised input is required.
- Stay updated with current medical guidelines, telehealth best practices, and relevant clinical developments.
- Ensure all consultations are conducted ethically, professionally, and in accordance with legal standards.
Skills
- Medical degree recognised within the UK (MBBS or equivalent) with valid registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Proven experience in clinical practice, preferably including telemedicine or remote consultation settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple consultations efficiently.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHR), and related digital tools.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity during patient interactions.
- Desirable: Additional certifications in telemedicine or digital health technologies; familiarity with mental health or chronic disease management is advantageous.
