Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Ayurvedic Doctor with a strong background in Research & Development (R&D) and product formulation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing new Ayurvedic products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the research and development of new Ayurvedic formulations (classical and proprietary).
- Develop and optimize products including tablets, syrups, capsules, powders, oils, and herbal supplements.
- Conduct ingredient research, formulation trials, and stability studies.
- Ensure all products comply with AYUSH, FSSAI, and other relevant government regulations.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to product development and regulatory approvals.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality control, and marketing teams.
- Monitor industry trends and innovations in Ayurveda and herbal medicine.
- Support product registrations, licensing, and audits when required.
Required Qualifications:
- BAMS / MD (Ayurveda) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Ayurvedic R&D and product development.
- Proven track record of developing and launching Ayurvedic products.
- Strong knowledge of classical Ayurvedic texts and modern formulation techniques.
- Good understanding of government regulations (AYUSH, GMP, FSSAI, etc.).
- Experience in documentation and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with herbal extracts and nutraceuticals.
- Knowledge of quality standards and testing procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
