Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily laboratory testing and sample preparation.
- Collect raw material, in-process, and finished product samples for testing.
- Support quality control checks as per company procedures.
- Clean and maintain lab equipment, glassware, and work areas.
- Prepare basic solutions, samples, and testing materials as instructed.
- Maintain proper labeling and storage of samples.
- Record test observations and maintain basic lab documentation.
- Follow SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of lab instruments.
- Report abnormal results, material issues, or equipment problems to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper disposal of laboratory waste.
- Support R&D/product development activities when required.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Basic documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety practices.
- Teamwork and discipline.
- Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage.
Qualification
- Minimum qualification: 12th Science / Diploma / B.Sc. Chemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Botany / Life Science.
- Experience in cosmetics, herbal, Ayurvedic, Siddha, food, pharma, or chemical laboratory is preferred.
- Freshers can also apply.
Preferred Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in laboratory, quality control, or product testing.
